La Femme: New Women’s Series

I have been meaning to create a new series for a while. Thoughts, Life, Travel, and Architecture have been interesting an engaging topics that I am all passionate about. Now it is time to share another passion of mine with you, my readers, I present to you, La Femme. A series dedicated to talking about women, empowering women, and learning from experience with other women. In this series I hope to share ideas and thoughts I have about being a woman, different experiences that I have, and advice I have received or given in regards to being a woman. I am also looking for women to speak and conduct interviews with to feature in the series in hopes of inspiring more conversation around women’s issues, so other women can learn and continue the conversation as well.

For me, being a woman holds a variety of accomplishments, challenges, opportunities, and questions. There are still many womanly things I have yet to explore or experience, yet I will honestly talk about topics that I find important and that I can draw from in my own or shared experiences. ‘La Femme’, translates to the woman in French, and from my recent study and learning of the language, I found it simple and fitting for the new series.

The empowerment of woman is my number one passion while reaching to an international scale as I develop in my experience, thoughts, and understanding. Women from all around the world may have different lived experiences, opinions, ideas, and upbringings, yet one thing we all have in common is sharing our female identity. From wise and beautifully aged to growing and young, women benefit from being around other women. I am proof, and if you think about it you may be too. I would not be the woman I am today without learning from the amazing women in my life I grew up with, I learned from, and who I love with all my heart. My mom, my grandmas, my aunts, my cousins, my best friends, the women who came before me, and the women I have met along the way all have impacted my own womanly experience. Now, it is my turn to continue the movement of empowerment and progress forward with any amount of women I can reach.

Please contact or comment here if you would like me to talk about any topics in particular, or if you are interested in being part of the interview series!
